Trauma Nurse Course Examination Process

After six months of rigorous practical and theoretical training, nurses are required to complete a final in-house examination to demonstrate their competency. This exam is carefully designed to mirror the complexity of real trauma care.

Here’s what the exam entails:

Approximately 100 questions drawn from 11 core sections.
A time limit of 2 minutes per question to encourage real-time decision making.
A passing score set at 80%, endorsed by the medical practice, ensures competence.
Questions are randomly selected from a bank of 480 items, so no two exams are the same.
Nurses who need to retake the exam receive new, non-repeating questions.
Upon passing, certificates are issued immediately and can be downloaded or printed for record-keeping.
